The DHP Admin Panel is designed as a centralized internal platform to power a dynamic healthcare mobile application. Unlike consumer-facing products, this project focused on enabling multiple internal teams to create, manage, and optimize app content at scale, while maintaining strict control, clarity, and role-based access.

The primary challenge was complexity. The mobile application relied heavily on dynamic content, meaning nearly every part of the app from walkthroughs and onboarding flows to quizzes, surveys, learning journeys, and CMS articles needed to be configurable without requiring frequent app updates. This demanded an admin system that was flexible, scalable, and easy to use despite the breadth of features.

A key focus of the project was information architecture. There are no widely available templates or off-the-shelf design patterns for enterprise healthcare admin tools of this nature, especially ones that support content creation, analytics, configuration, and monitoring under a single system. Extensive research was conducted across SaaS platforms, learning management systems, analytics dashboards, and internal enterprise tools to identify patterns that could be adapted and unified.

The admin panel was architected around clearly defined modules such as CMS, Analytics, App Data, App Configuration, Users, Monitoring, and Reports. Each module was intentionally segmented to align with real-world organizational roles and workflows. Role-based access control played a critical role in the design, ensuring that different user groups only interacted with the tools relevant to their responsibilities. For example, content administrators could focus solely on CMS-related tasks, marketing teams could access analytics and engagement metrics, while operations and technical teams could manage configuration, environments, and monitoring.

Another important requirement was support for multiple build environments. The admin panel allows teams to seamlessly switch between Development, Staging, and Production environments from a single interface—eliminating the need for separate subdomains or tools. This significantly improves operational efficiency while reducing the risk of configuration errors across environments.

Beyond structure, the design prioritized usability and clarity. Given the healthcare context and internal usage, the interface needed to be reliable, intuitive, and resistant to error. Complex workflows such as journey creation, Duolingo-style quizzes, and conditional surveys were designed with guided interactions, clear hierarchy, and validation states to reduce cognitive load.

Although this project was delivered as a design engagement, it required deep collaboration across product, business, and technical perspectives. The outcome is a robust, enterprise-ready admin system that showcases our capability to design custom internal tools, solve complex business problems, and build scalable foundations where off-the-shelf solutions fall short.

For confidentiality reasons, the product is referenced using the short name DHP, but the design reflects real-world healthcare requirements and enterprise-level operational complexity.
